Work done while employed by Studiolido, Architect of Record.

The project consists of a renovation of an existing warehouse building into a fully
functioning restaurant and bar, with indoor, outdoor and sidewalk seating in the
Morningside area of Miami.

Vicki Soderlund's role as Project Manager consisted of working closely with the
firm Principal, Owner and General Contractor team to develop a layout, functional
elements required for restaurant operations, and documents for construction.

The Brasserie at Mayfair
Coconut Grove, Florida

Work done while employed by Studiolido, Architect of Record.

The project consists of a renovation of an existing restaurant and kitchen by
adding a new bar , reconfiguring the seating area, creating new restrooms,
reconfiguring the kitchen and equipment to suite a new menu, and adding a gift
shop in an adjacent tenant space.

Vicki Soderlund's role as Project Manager included working closely with the firm
Principal, Owner, General Contractor and kitchen consultant to design the new
bar, restaurant,  shop and kitchen layout, and to prepare the drawings for
construction. In addition, coordination during construction, as would be required
by the complexity of a renovation project.

Segafrado Coffee at the Colony
Miami Beach, Florida

Work done in cooperation with Carl Myers, Architect of Record.


The project consists of new construction of a café within an existing building and
adjacent to a historic theater on Lincoln Road.

Vicki Soderlund's role as Project Manager consisted of working with the firm
Princial and Owners to provide a design and the essential café functions within a
minimal space, creating a new bar, cashier/display station, and layout for interior
& sidewalk seating. This was the second Segafredo location in the United States
at the time, and material selection presented a special challenge, in that the colors
of Segafredo had to be used but the look and feeling of Miami Beach conveyed. In
addition to design input, Vicki provided the drawings for construction and permit.
Big Pink
Miami Beach, Florida

Work done while employed by Studiolido, Architect of Record.

The project consists of a renovation of an existing historic building in the South
Point area of Miami Beach to create a restaurant on the ground level, a second
floor restaurant office, as well as a new office space for Studiolido.

Vicki Soderlund's role as Project Manager included working closely with the firm
Principal to renovate the existing building which was gutted, and prepare the
drawings for construction for all improvements.  In addition, coordination during
construction, as would be required by the complexity of a renovation project.

Rosie's Wraps
Coconut Grove, Florida

Work done while employed by Studiolido, Architect of Record.

The project consists of a new restaurant in an existing tenant space.

Vicki Soderlund's role as Project Manager included working closely with the
Owner and firm Principal to develop the design for the restaurant and open
kitchen, custom furniture and lighting design, and prepare drawings for
permit/construction. In addition, Vicki worked closely with engineers to integrate
the functional elements of air conditioning and ventilation into the design concept,
and to install a new exhaust system in an existing multi-story building.

In addition, Vicki assisted the construction of the project, coordinating
construction crews, schedule, budget and delivering the restaurant opening on
time.

As a special project requested by the owner, Vicki created an original mosaic
mural of hand made Moroccan tile set in stucco, which she selected to
compliment the concept developed for the restaurant.

Andiamo Pizza
Miami, Florida

Work done in cooperation with Carl Myers, Architect of Record.


The project consists of renovation of an existing car wash building to house both a
smaller car wash operation as well as a new pizza restaurant in the Morningside
area of Miami.

Vicki Soderlund's role as Project Managerconsisted of working with the firm
Principal and Owners to provide a design and the essential restaurant functions
within a minimal space, layout for interior & sidewalk seating, parking, and office.  
In addition to design input, Vicki provided the drawings for construction and
permit.

Crystals Restaurant
Halhidiki, Greece

Work done while employed as staff architect at Porto Carras Resort.


The project consists of design for a new five-star restaurant in the existing
Meliton Hotel at the Porto Carras Resort.

Vicki Soderlund's role as Project Architect consisted of working with an in-house
team of engineers and marketing personnel to design the new restaurant  with bar
and VIP area based on hotel requirements.

Buizuki Nightclub
Halhidiki, Greece

Work done while employed as staff architect at Porto Carras Resort.

The project consists of design for a bizouki style nightclub in the existing
Meliton Hotel at the Porto Carras Resort.

Vicki Soderlund's role as Project Architect consisted of working with an in-house
team of engineers and construction personnel to design and to begin construction
for the new nightclub. Since the hotel where this club is located houses a great
number of guests in its 700 rooms, the club which provides a most popular form
of entertainment in Greece needs to accommodate a maximum number of seats.
In this environment, food as well as drinks are served, and there are 2 bar areas.
Vicki provided the design and layout, material selections and lighting design for
the club, and worked on site with an in house construction crew to achieve the
desired floor patterns & custom coloring of concrete for the flooring.
